Please read and take note of the following rules:

1. Content - Do not post images or content that is not suitable for this site. No age restriction is enforced on this site, so please only post material which would be suitable for anyone above the age of 13. This forum is all for free speech , but it will not tolerate Political threads with what in the opinion of this Admin, could be considered offensive to any of our members. This content, whilst not exhaustive will specifically refer to Racism - Sexism.

2. Txt Speak - Please keep Txt speak to a minimum. Not only is it sometimes hard to read and understand, it doesn't paint a very intelligent picture of yourself! Please also take care is to ensure that words are spelt correctly (where possible) and correct grammar is used. This helps to ensure that the posts read as intended and the information passed is accurate and understandable to all. The only acceptable usage is common abbreviations such as LOL, PMSL, IIRC etc.

3. Swearing - We're all grown up here and we realise graphic words may be used even in a positive situation. Although there are swear filters, please do not excessively use swear words. Also, do NOT attempt to change the spelling of graphic language. The filters are there to filter this stuff out and are not an invitation to try and get around them.

4. Bullying - DevilTorque.org is a very friendly site, but every now and then some like to make life difficult for others. This could be in the shape of prejudice or targeting a specific user or social group. Anyone found to be bullying in any form will be banned immediately.

5. Unsocial Behaviour - Any form of dangerous or illegal driving IS NOT advocated by DevilTorque.org nor will it be tolerated. Any behaviour that brings the reputation of this site and it's affiliates into disrepute will not be tolerated. This includes at DevilTorque events and meets. Sensible, respectful drivers only please!

6. Moderation - If a post you have made has been moderated, please live with it. Moderators do not edit posts for the fun of it and do not have time to justify themselves. The moderating team will not enter into dialogue over any moderated post, but will simply quote "Rule 5". DevilTorque.org is a free site and is run by enthusiasts who are not paid to do so. Please respect the admin and moderators. Any abuse to any staff members will not be tolerated and you WILL be banned from the site and/or future events.

7. Spam - Please do not post for the sake of posting. Posting a topic with no meaning or interesting content is a waste of resources and other people's time. (See Moderation above)

8. Signatures - Sigs are allowed, but please do not abuse this priviledge. No huge images or inappropriate content please. Anyone found abusing this will have it manually changed and warned. No classified adverts are allowed in signatures- please use the relevant for sale section.

9. Security - DevilTorque.org is not and will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any forum member's property. If you wish to show pictures of your machines, please blank out number plates and/or objects that may give clues to it's whereabouts. (This is not applicable to the "DT Photography" thread due to the sales involved)
Any member/Registered user that allows any other person to use there login details without prior approval of an Admin or Moderator will be automatically banned from this Forum

10. Advertising - Please do not advertise a company or service in your signature or posts unless you request permission first. If you wish to become an authorised Trader, please see the "Trader" section of the forum. The advertising forums are not for chit-chat, please do not make comment on items for sale if you have no intention to buy.

Enforcement of these rules will be at the discretion of the administrators and moderators. Punishment may range from an infraction or small ban, to a lifetime ban.
These rules are subject to change without warning.
